Belgian born Bruno Vergauwen started his career from an early age
Painting, drawing and sculpturing with his father resulted in him being surrounded by art from an early childhood.
He studied art troughout his school career and when he was 19, he started his study of Graphic design and advertising at St.Lucas in Antwerp, Belgium.
After his studies he started working at an Advertising agency where he worked for 10 years. Due to working in Advertising so long, he yearned for something more personal. This is when he started making more illustrations and photoretouches for himself. He did some covers for comics and made some alternative movie posters. During this ten years he was selected for a couple of contest with his work and made some drawings for a few books.
In 2010 he did his first solo exhibition in Antwerp, he created some magazine covers and recently made illustrations for an article in 'the New scientist' which also became the cover picture.
Bruno likes the way every person looks at his work differently and enjoys the challenge of an assignment. He continues working at an Advertising Agency but his real passion lies with creating images and the different worlds that come with it.
